The Samford Show Society is a "not for profit" organisation, comprised of a committee of volunteering members who act as caretakers of the Samford Showgrounds to ensure it can be used safely and responsibly in the provision of entertainment for the Samford Community and surrounding districts, associations and clubs and private functions.

The Samford Show Society primarily delivers the Rodeo and the Samford Show each year. With the Rodeo held on the last Saturday of March attracting in excess of 4,000 attendees and the Samford Show the 3rd weekend in July attracting over 8,000 people.

The Samford Show Society are very supportive of events which raise funds for community groups and organisations, showcase local events and artists, raise the profile of the Samford Community and provide entertainment for Samford and neighbouring communities.

Our live-in caretaker maintains the showgrounds in Samford. The grounds - set in 40 acres of lush countryside - have camping facilities, powered sites for caravans if required, various buildings that can be hired out year round together with our arena and pavilion. Many events can be held at the same time owing to the large area and facilities available.

Samford is situated approximately 25km from Brisbane City and 7km from Samford Village. It is located in lush country settings surrounded by the Mountains.

More recent events have included the Samford Rodeo, Riding for the Disabled events, the Million Paws Walk and the Samford Show.
